Spinal Adjustments in Gettysburg, PA

Hands-on adjustments for the neck, mid back, and low back - for anyone whose body does the work, from the job site to the driver's seat to the desk.

You bent over to pick up a bundle of shingles, and something in your low back grabbed. Or you have been on a ladder all week, and now your neck will not turn all the way. Maybe it is the long drives between jobs, or the years at a desk that finally caught up. Spinal adjustments are the hands-on, conservative core of what this office does - gentle, specific work to help restricted joints in your spine move freely again.

Dr. Natalie at Wellness From Within Chiropractic is a Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated salutatorian of her class. She sees trades workers, farmers, drivers, desk workers, and weekend athletes out of the same downtown Gettysburg office - private rooms, one doctor, and a plan built for how you actually move each day.

Who spinal adjustments are for

People who lift for a living

Trades, farms, warehouses, orchards - if your low back takes the load, this is for you.

Drivers and desk workers

Hours seated lock up the neck, mid back, and hips. We loosen what gets stiff.

Weekend athletes

From the trail to the softball field - recover faster and move better.

What a spinal visit looks like here

  1. 01

    We start with your story

What happened, how long it has been going on, what makes it better or worse, and what you want to get back to. We take a careful history.

  2. 02

    A hands-on exam

We check how your spine moves - where it is stiff, where it is tender, and how the joints above and below are doing. This is hands-on, not just a screen.

  3. 03

A clear plan in plain language

We explain what we found and what we recommend. No pressure, no upsell, no long list of visits you do not need.

  4. 04

Your first adjustment, if it is a good fit

If spinal adjustments are right for you, you can get care on your first visit. If they are not, we will tell you honestly and point you to the right provider.

What spinal care may help with

In careful language: spinal adjustments may help with neck, mid back, and low back discomfort, stiffness after lifting or long drives, and general aching from how you move each day. We do not claim to cure, fix, or prevent any disease or condition. If what we find needs a different provider, we will say so.

When this is not the right care

Some back pain needs your medical doctor, imaging, or a specialist. Some needs a physical therapist. If your exam points somewhere else, your chiropractor will tell you honestly and point you to the right provider - before any adjustment. We would rather lose a visit than send you down the wrong path.

How this fits with the rest of your care

Spinal adjustments often pair with soft tissue therapy for tight muscles around the spine, and rehabilitative exercises you can do at home so the work holds. If your trouble is in a shoulder, wrist, knee, or ankle, see our extremity adjustments page.

Spinal adjustment questions, answered

Will the adjustment hurt?

Most adjustments do not hurt. You may feel or hear a small pop, which is normal. If something is tender, tell Dr. Natalie, and she adapts the technique to what you can handle that day.

Do I need to keep coming back forever?

No. The goal is conservative care that helps your body move and heal on its own, not a long list of visits you do not need. You will get a clear plan, and you decide how long you want to continue.

I lifted something wrong at work - can you see me this week?

Call us. We keep room in the schedule for people who tweak their back and need to be seen sooner. We will do our best to get you in quickly.

Can you help with pain from long drives?

Yes. Hours behind the wheel lock up the low back, hips, and neck. Adjustments and soft tissue work may help, and we will show you simple changes to your seat and posture that can help on the next haul.

What if my back pain is from something serious?

We do a careful exam first. If what we find needs your medical doctor, a specialist, or imaging, we will tell you honestly and point you in the right direction before any adjustment.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, loose clothing you can move in. You will not need to change into a gown.
