Rehab Exercises and Corrective Care in Gettysburg, PA

Simple, targeted exercises you can do at home - so the work we do in the office holds between visits, and your body learns to move better on its own.

You felt better after your last visit - for a few days. Then the old stiffness crept back in, the same way it always does. That gap between the adjustment table and real life is where rehabilitative exercises live. They are not a workout program or a gym membership. They are a few simple movements, taught to you, that help your body hold the work and keep moving the way it is supposed to.

Dr. Natalie at Wellness From Within Chiropractic is a Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated salutatorian of her class. She teaches exercises that fit your life - short, targeted, and doable at home - so progress does not depend on being in the office three times a week. Same downtown Gettysburg practice, private rooms, one doctor who knows what you are working toward.

What a rehab visit looks like here

  1. 01

    We start with your goals

What do you want to get back to - lifting without pain, running again, sleeping comfortably? We take a careful history and figure out what moving better would mean for you.

  2. 02

    A hands-on exam

We check how you move, where you are strong, and where you are not. That tells us which exercises will actually help - not a generic sheet.

  3. 03

A clear plan in plain language

We explain what we found and teach you a few simple exercises, in the office, so you know exactly how to do them at home. No jargon, no pressure.

  4. 04

Care and coaching on your first visit

If exercises are right for you, you leave with a short routine you can start that day. We check in on it next visit and adjust as you improve.

What rehab exercises may help with

In careful language: rehabilitative exercises may help your body hold the progress from your adjustments, move better on its own, and recover from strains and stiffness. We do not promise a timeline, and we do not claim to cure, fix, or prevent any condition. If what we find needs a physical therapist or another provider, we will say so.

When this is not the right care

Some recovery needs a physical therapist - especially after surgery, a significant injury, or for pelvic floor concerns. Some needs your medical doctor or a specialist first. If your exam points that way, Dr. Natalie will tell you honestly and point you to the right provider. We would rather get you to the right help than keep you on a routine that is not serving you.

How this fits with the rest of your care

Exercises are the bridge between spinal adjustments and extremity adjustments and everyday life - they help the hands-on work last. We often pair them with soft tissue therapy so tight tissue is not working against you.

Rehab exercise questions, answered

Do I need a gym or equipment?

No. The exercises Dr. Natalie teaches are simple movements you can do at home with little or no equipment. The goal is progress that fits your real life, not another appointment.

How long do I have to do them?

Most are short - a few minutes a day. We do not promise a timeline, because every body is different. You will get a plan that fits what is going on with you, and we adjust it as you improve.

Will exercises replace my adjustments?

Not usually. Exercises help your body hold the work from your adjustments and move better on its own. Many patients do both for a while, then need fewer visits as the exercises take hold.

I hurt my back lifting at work - can you give me exercises?

Yes. After an exam, we can teach simple movements that may help your back recover and stay stronger. If your injury needs imaging or a different provider first, we will tell you honestly.

Can you help me get back to running after having a baby?

We can support a gradual, careful return to movement with gentle exercises for core and hip strength. We do not promise a timeline - your body sets the pace, and we work with it.

What if an exercise hurts?

Stop and tell us. Some effort is normal; sharp pain is not. We adjust the plan so it works for you, and if something needs a physical therapist we will say so.
